Hello
I’m Jess! I’m a permanent makeup artist and educator in the UK. My passion for permanent makeup stems from my desire to help others feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. I love creating really natural results than enhance clients natural beauty and that when people look their best, they feel their best, and it’s incredibly rewarding to play a role in that transformation. Whether it’s camouflaging a scar, brightening dark circles, or simply enhancing natural brows, eyes and lips, my work allows clients to wake up each day with renewed confidence.
Beyond boosting self-esteem, these treatments also save my clients valuable time each morning. By reducing or even eliminating the need for daily makeup application, they can enjoy more relaxed and stress-free mornings, allowing them to focus on what truly matters in their lives. The convenience and long-lasting results of permanent makeup not only enhance their appearance but also contribute to a more balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
My Story
With 10 years of experience in the industry, I have honed my skills in permanent makeup, specialising in ultra natural results for brows, eyes and lips and also focusing on paramedical tattooing methods such as scar camouflage, dark circle correction, and inkless scar revision. I am a certified permanent makeup educator and I continuously update my knowledge to stay at the forefront of the latest techniques.

My journey into permanent makeup began when I was becoming a mother. I personally experienced a loss of identity and in an attempt to ‘find’ myself I came across permanent makeup and I became excited about the prospect of not having to spend precious time in the mornings doing my makeup when I was trying to adjust to Mum life. After previously studying fine art but not having the confidence to pursue a career in the art world, then choosing to work in the mental health field for the NHS. The artist in me still craved creativity. I had a light bulb moment and knew tattooing eyebrows would be a great fit for me, that I could be great at it and that it could really transform lives, like mine as a new, and a little bit lost, new mum. I still have so many clients visit me who are going through a transitional period in their life and too are experiencing that sense of feeling lost. Whether it’s after a breakup, having children, going through menopause, career change or empty nest syndrome. I love being a part of someone’s journey to reclaiming their life, identity and feeling more like themselves again. From an outside perspective, these treatments may just seem cosmetic, a luxury maybe but to me they are really transformative and life changing!
I was approached by a training company in 2016 and offered a position as an educator in the industry which was a huge compliment. I began my teaching journey after taking many courses in education and business so I could ensure I would be delivering the best possible courses in permanent makeup. I feel so passionate about the industry, how we can change our clients lives and how this niche industry and owning a successful business transformed my own life. It is such an honour to be a part of that journey for other budding artists. It give me such pleasure to watch their businesses grow and to be given a front seat to their success
I believe every clients results should be as unique as you are and I don’t use a ‘cookie cutter’ approach. I really dislike when artists do the same design(brow shape, lip shape etc) on every client, regardless of age, face shape, current natural brow placement etc. Your results will be totally bespoke to you and you will be able to discuss your goals and see the design before the treatment. I aim to achieve natural, subtle results that age beautifully and can be altered and adjusted in the future in line with your style, age and goals. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and to request for adjustment to be made, this is your face/body and your opinion and wishes are important. Let’s make this a collaborate process!

I also follow this method with my courses, avoiding the ‘cookie cutter’ approach. Everybody has an individual learning style and your training should be tailored to you and your specific needs. I am lead by you and I am assessing your learning style continuously and ensure we find a way to enable you to absorb the information and hone your skills as much as possible during our time together. I provide support after class to guide you through the early stages of your career ad infancy of your business. Many students become life long friends, with myself and also with each other. Even if they don’t learn initially with each other, we have created a online community of students who are very supportive.
